Salt of the Earth Fife launch, St. Brycedale Centre, Kirkcaldy, April 1999
The Fife launch of Salt of the Earth, in Kirkcaldy's St. Brycedale Centre, invited individuals with various forms of disability and carers to consider contributing toward the project. The group that subsequently formed has tackled a number of diverse issues, including that of disability itself. Plans are underway to commission an interactive sculpture which will utilise the audio recordings to communicate experience of disability of various parts of the body in response to touch.
