The Scottish Borders Memory Bank is a Borders Council-sponsored Millennium initiative. Salt of the Earth ran two training days, one in Galashiels and one in Duns, for volunteers interested in working with and contributing to this Memory Bank. This, together with advice and support, has established a relationship that will enable Salt of the Earth to include recordings from a wide range of local projects contributing to the Memory Bank.
