Avoch (pronounced Och) is a former fishing village on the Black Isle on the Moray Firth.
The group members have been learning recording and interviewing skills, and borrowing the equipment to record their interviews with other members of the community. Currently, they are working toward a video presentation illustrating the life and work of the fishermen of the village. They also have an impressive collection of photographs of the agricultural and fishing heritage of the area and will be producing a digital archive of these images.
