If you live in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, you should join the Swiss branch of the Society.
Membership in Switzerland costs CHF 40.- per year. In addition, through our "member get member" incentive, your own membership will be extended for six months free of charge if you introduce a new member to the Society. Just have the new member reference your membership number on their application.
If you would like to join the Society in Switzerland, please download one of the following membership forms and return it to us by post or by fax. Please note that we require a physical signature certifying that you are of legal drinking age, so we cannot accept applications by electronic mail. Society mailings in Switzerland are available in English, German or French, so be sure to specify your preferred language.
If you have any questions, or would like further information, please let us know. Our telephone hours are 9:00 to 12:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, or you can reach us by fax, electronic mail or post. You are also welcome to come by our offices, but please note that an appointment is required! We are very small, which is to say that we may be away at a tasting, off at the post, or otherwise unavailable.

The Society offices in Switzerland are in the Haumüli of Embrach. The Haumüli is an old saw- and grain-mill; the present buildings date from the turn of the century, but the mill's history goes back more than 500 years. The Society occupies only part of the premises, as the buildings belong to the historical society (roughly equivalent to the National Trust in the UK), and the mills are being restored to working order. The Haumüli is located in a nature preserve, with picnic spots and many hiking trails in the area. A large room in the mill can be rented for special events, and the rental fees support the ongoing restoration work.
