The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is an association of
lovers of single malt Scotch whiskies, whose object is to
promote an appreciation of whisky's diversity. The
Society selects particularly fine casks and bottles them
individually, at cask strength and without
chill-filtration. We bottle malts from virtually every
distillery in Scotland, and have brought to light several
whiskies which were hitherto unknown to the public. The Society publishes a regular newsletter together with bottling lists that describe the currently available whiskies. The Society headquarters are in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a number of international branches exist to serve the needs of members living outside the United Kingdom.
