Day
1. Arrive WARSAW: overnight Konstancin
Meet
your guide in the morning for a guided tour of Warsaw. Visit the
Old Town, Lazienki Royal Park, city centre, Royal Route, Memorial
of Heroes of the Ghetto, the Memorial to Warsaw Uprising etc.
Afterwards transfer by bus to Konstancin - this garden city features
pine forests, sandy soil and a pleasant microclimate which make
it a popular spa and health resort of the rich and famous. Enjoy
an evening stroll in these pleasant surroundings. Overnight in
Konstancin in a ***Hotel.
Day
2. KONSTANCIN - KAZIMIERZ 36ml(58km)
Firstly
take a cycle tour through Konstancin. Visit the open-air inhalatorium
situated in the centre of Zdrojowy Park where persons wishing
to take advantage of its healing influence on the nervous and
immune systems sit on wooden benches inside the tower. The brine
flows down the fascine, evaporating and producing a special soothing
microclimate. Leave the city and cycle to Czersk for a visit to
the beautiful castle and listen to an interesting historical tale.
The ride continues along the Vistula River to Deblin with frequent
stops to enjoy the landscape and the watch the birds. Visit the
interesting, partly restored 16th century castle in Janowiec before
taking the ferry to Kazimierz.

3. Explore from KAZIMIERZ 25ml(40km)
In 17th and 18th centuries this beautiful city on the Vistula
was important city for export of polish corn. Now the granaries
are used as a hotels and pensions. Kazimierz is former jewish
city and before Second World War it was popular with the rich
citizens of Warsaw. Today it is one of the favourite towns for
weekend excursions. Perhaps climb the hill to enjoy the fine views
from the ruined royal castle and watchtower. In the afternoon
cycle through the scenic surrounding countryside.

4. KAZIMIERZ - SANDOMIERZ 40ml(65km)
Cycle
to Solec- an opportunity to experience a typical quiet little
Polish village: from there take a boat trip on Vistula to picnic
on one of the islands. Afterwards cycle to Jozefow and then transfer
by coach to Sandomierz (70km). This beautiful medieval riverside
town was spared destruction during the war and has many fine buildings
including a 13th century Dominican Abbey, a 14th century Cathedral,
St Paul's Church, a Baroque Benedictine monastery and the Town
Hall. After dinner take a sroll through the old town.

5. REST DAY SAMDOMIERZ
Spend the morning sightseeing in the old town. There are few places
in in Poland where in such a small area you can see so many pearls
of art and architecture. Explore the 470-m long underground tourist
route around the Gothic cellars of local merchants. In the afternoon
take a boat trip the
nature reserve of the Pepper Mountains built of quartzite
and Cambrian slate they form a steep 60m high ridge over the Vistula
valley. Enjoy the panoramic view of the town. Dine in the evening
on a meal of typical south Polish cuisine.

6.SANDOMIERZ - BARANOW 31ml(50km)
Cycle
along the Vistula to Baranow for a visit to the castle. It is
one of the most valuable and impressive pieces of secular Renaissance
architecture in Poland. It is most famous for its beautiful cloistered
rectangular inner courtyard (which has given it its nickname,
"Little Wawel"), its unique portals and the richly decorated
attic on the front elevation. Before dinner stroll throught the
beautiful park and afterwards listen to a talk about the Polish
nobility and aristocracy.

7. BARANOW - KRAKOW 40ml(65km)
A
day spent riding through quiet countryside, where life goes slowly.
Picnic on the Vistula riverside enjoying scenic views and a wide
variety of bird species. In the afternoon transfer by bus to kracow
where there is a farewell dinner in a beautiful restaurant. Later
in the evening stroll through the narrow streets of the old town.
For jazz fans it may be possible to obtain a ticket for concert
in one of jazz clubs.

8. Sightseeing in KRAKOW and Departure
After
breakfast spend the morning sightseeing. On Wawel Hill visit the
Royal Castle, home of Poland's monarchs since the 11th century.
Its stately halls and exquisite chambers are filled with priceless
art, best period furniture and rare ancient objects. Wawel Cathedral
where Polish kings are buried, shelters plenty of superb church
art. Among its 18 chapels are true architectural masterpieces.
The giant bell, Zygmunt dating from 1520 ranks with the world's
largest. Visit also the Marian church with its beautifully carved
altar, the cloth hall, and the biggest Square in this part of
