Day1. Arrive GLASGOW: explore the bustling city centre and take the city tour bus.
Evening: collect cycles and briefing.

 

Kelvingrove GalleriesDay 2. Explore from GLASGOW: many choices such as visiting the Burrell Collection, Kelvingrove Art Gallery or try out your bike with a ride to the beginning of the canal at Bowling Basin on the River Clyde(24ml,38km).

Day 3. Glasgow - FALKIRK 27ml(43km)
The Canal at FalirkFrom Spiers Wharf in the city centre set off on your memorable journey. Enjoy excellent views of the city on this elevated branch canal and as you make your way to the historic town of Falkirk look out for the Roman sites, industrial legacy and canalside pubs. Day 4. Explore from FALKIR
Falkirk has excellent shops, Millenium Wheel a heritage trail and Callendar House Museum. Perhaps cycle to nearby Stirling to visit the ancient Castle and Old Town Jail or take an excursion to Loch Katrine in the beautiful Trossachs Region.        The Millennium Wheel >>>>>

 

Day 5. Falkirk - EDINBURGH 32ml(51km)

At the historic canalside town of Linlithgow visit the ruins of the 15th century castle, the museum and the13th century church. There are three impressive aqueducts on this lock free Union Canal which continues into the heart of Edinburgh.

 

Days 6 & 7. Explore EDINBURGH
There is ample time to explore the many attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the Museums and Galleries, the Royal Yacht Brittania or the Botanic Gardens but if you wish there are many quiet cycle paths out of the city.

Day 8. Depart EDINBURGH
