Day 1. Arrive BUDAPEST
Early evenig route briefing and welcome drink of Hungarian apricot schnapps at your Hotel. Dinner followed by "Budapest at Night" coach tour.

Day 2. BUDAPEST - KUNHEGYES 28ml(45km)
Transfer by bus through Szolnok to begin cycling at Doba Puszta. Collect your bicycle and begin your adventure. Travel through a beautiful conservation area and picturesque villages to Kunhegyes. Your first thermal bath awaits you.

Day 3. UNHEGYNES - TISZAORS 30ml(49km)
After breakfast take a guided tour of the town. Cycle to Abadszalok at Lake Tisza, the second largest lake in Hungary and have a swim. Continue to Tiszaörs-Fürdo the site of one of the most abundant thermal springs in Hungary. Enjoy the different temperatures of the various pools and let the minerals revitalise your tired limbs

Day 4. TISZAORS-FURDO - MATA 28ml(45km) Hortobágy National Park is home to hundreds of bird and plant species normally found only by the sea. There are grebes, herons, egrets, spoonbills, storks, kites, shrikes, warblers and eagles - a birdwatcher's paradise! Take a guided boat trip to appreciate the atmosphere of this flood-plain forest filled with bird song. Continue to Máta, where the famous Nonius breed of horses is reared.

Day 5. MATA -NADUDVAR 30ml(48km)
Climb up on the "puszta tazi", a covered wagon and experience the natural Puszta of the Hortobagy National Park, 630sq. km of grassland teeming with indigenous bird life and flora. See many types of animals specially reared on the Puszta, wild horses, grey cattle, sheep and boar. Begin cycling to reach the famous Nine Hole Bridge spanning the marshy Hortobágy River and continue for more spa bathing at Nádudvar.

Day 6. NADUDVAR - HAJDUSZOBOSZLO 24ml(38km)
Cycle to Hajdúszoboszló the most popular resort on the Great Plain and Hungary's largest and grandest thermal spa with 17 swimming, wave, spring and thermal pools. Continue to visit Hajdúszovát, an old hussar village. Bathe and relax there and on the return journey to Nadudvar have a delicious farewell picnic near the canal at the spa village of Kaba. On the return to Nadudvar visit the famous master potter and see the typical local black pottery.

Day 7. NADUDVAR - BUDAPEST
Transfer by bus to Budapest and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the capital. Then the choice is yours, swimming in Art Noveau Gellert Baths, relaxing, shopping or walking. Enjoy the farewell dinner and bid farewell to your cycling companions.
