Day 1. ARRIVE ANGERS.
You are hosted by Claude and Jacqueline Blanchard at Le CLOS de la TOUCHE in the charming village of BLAISON-GOHIER. Evening meal and accommodation in their 18th century farm house.

Day 2. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER                                25ml/40 km
Discover the Chateaux at Brissac as you take to the back roads exploring vineyards and “Troglodytes”- people who live in caves. You have the comfort of the same location for the overnight stay but tonight is a night for dining out at a choice of local restaurants.

Day 3. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER                    25km(40km)

After another excellent breakfast make for a wine estate where you will see the process of wine production from the grape to your glass! There is a possible game of golf or other activities to suit.

Day 4. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER                    25ml(40km)
An early start for your day in Saumur. Cycle by the Loire to arrive in plenty of time to explore the many interesting sights. Saumur is a place dedicated to horses but there is also wine making, liqueur distilleries, armoured vehicle and motor museums and the magnificent Chateau. You can have dinner at local restaurant in the old city and a lift is provided back to

Blaison-Gohier.

Day 5. BLAISON-GOHIER - LA POSSONNIERE            25ml(40km)
Leave the hospitality of Jacqeline & Claude for a trip through the vineyards of the "Coteaux du Layon" and "Quart de Chaume" and enjoy some tasting as you go! Perhas picnic on an quiet little island in the River Loire before continuing to arrive at the beautiful estate house "La Rousseliere". The comfortable accommodation includes a swimming pool and evening dinner is provided.

Day 6. Rest day LA POSSONNIERE 25ml(40km)

After a lovely breakfast, either enjoy some time at the swimming pool or explore the vicinity: visit the handsome Chateau of Serrant or cycle the
charming island of Chalonnes, taking advantage of the new bike trail along the Loire. Dinner again at "La Rousseliere".

Day 7. LA POSSONNIERE - BLAISON-GOHIER 25ml(40km)

Today return to Blaison-Gohier, via Angers where on a visit to the old fortress view the famous set of tapestries "L'Apocalypse". Alternatively explore some of the numerous public gardens that have made city of Angers so famous.There are many other places of interest on the way to Le Clos de la Touche to spend the last night.
