| Dear Sir I have written to express my feelings about dog fouling in the Meadows. It has gone on long enough and in just half an hour we saw evidence of one hundred and twenty seven dogs fouling in our area. It made me angry that no-one pays attention to the signs. I hope you will consider this. Yours sincerely Will. | Dear Sir I am annoyed about the dog fouling in the Meadows. Yesterday we went to the Meadows to check it out. We found 127 dog owners letting their dogs foul. Something has to be done! Dog fouling is illegal and can cause a terrible disease, Toxocariasis! This disease can cause blindness. We would like more signs in the Meadows because there are only two and only one bin for the dirt. I think it is disgusting. Yours sincerely Katherine |
| Dear Sir I am writing to you because my class (P6D) and I wish to express our concern about dog fouling in the Meadows. It makes us angry! We demand more bins for the dog owners to put their dogs' foul in. We have evidence that people let their dogs foul and not clean it up. We have graphs that show this. On Tuesday 13th May, we went out to the Meadows to ask some people questions about what they felt about dog fouling in the Meadows and the graphs showing the answers as well. Bins are not that expensive! Yours sincerely Emily | Dear Sir I am really angry! When I go down to the Meadows it is always full of dog's dirt. We are scared that we will fall on it and we could get a disease called 'Toxocariasis'. It can be so bad as to lake you blind. So why can't you get more bins and make our part of the Meadows a 'dog free zone'? It would not cost that much! Yours sincerely Jennifer |
We even had the letters published in a number of newspapers
