Mens 1st Team in Division 1 : Mens 2nd Team in Division 5.
Ladies 1st Team in Division 3 : Ladies 2nd Team in Division 6.
Junior 1st Team in Super League : Junior 2nd Team in Division 2.
Dundee Area Squad Members
Congratulations must go to the following NWTS&C players who earned themselves places in the above area squad.
James Strachan, Andy Nicoll, Julia Bruce, Maria Thomas, Callum Whiting, Graeme and Howat Duncan, Lisa Graham and Frazer Mitchel.
Thanks must also go to Bett Inns who supported the squad and to Dundee District Council Tennis Development Group who along with Impact initiatives aided the forming of the squad.
Wimbledon 2001 Visit
We were lucky this year to be able to arrange a visit to this years Championships. Seeing it was our first organised trip to Wimbledon, it was decided to offer places to our Junior Team Players. Simon and myself took James Strachan, Rowan Forster, David Sinclair and Callum Whiting down to the first Monday and Tuesday of Wimbledon. Callum quickly became the autograph person and collected a capful of famous players including the Mens Champion! Accommodation was in nearbye Wimbledon Village.
