."THE SECRET OF LIFE"

I "bought" a copy of THE GUARDIAN on the genome affair.
For the 26th of June 2000 in the hope of some ideas rich & rare.,
But I discovered to my horror that the writer let me down,
Way down among the errors of the RUDYARD KIPLING clown.
"THIS IS A MILESTONE IN THE "WESTERN" SCIENTIFIC QUEST" said he
And the tomfoolery of KIPLING came washing over me.
"FOR EAST IS EAST AND WEST IS WEST"
"AND NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET"
Is a CONTRADICTION of a principle I press on everyone I meet.
I DENY the very notion that the "YANKS" and the "SLITTY EYES"
Are destined NEVER to realise,
That they can both be human in the LIFE enterprise.
Which is the message of the saying about the EAST and WEST.
Which KIPLING wrote and emphasised as TRUTH at its BEST.
But it is DANGEROUS NONSENSE to back the WEST against the EAST.
When all MANKIND together might enjoy a GLORIOUS FEAST.
Everybody should remember that our EARTH is a GLOBAL SPHERE,
And every human being can learn to be a LOYAL HUMAN HERE.
Stupid PRIESTS and other other GOD-MEN and IMPERIALISTS too,
Have DIVIDED HUMAN BEINGS into a MULTI-NATIONS crew.
But I have come to damn them and their damnfool plots,.
By proposing EDUCATION for every child to RESIST the poly-glots.
FOOLS have kept the BRITISH ROYALS as kingpins in our land.
But the coming referenda must change this old demand.
We need a change of nationhood from the splinters to one WHOLE
And teach every child on earth to SELECT A HUMAN GLOBAL GOAL..
No more the KIRK of SCOTLAND or the CHURCH of CANADA
The CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ROME or the MOSQUES OF ARABIA.
We must have DONE with that OLD THINKING and switch to a CREED NEW,
The Cosmic Creed of Scientists is a faith that ‘s really due.
Every HUMAN can be LOYAL to the SINGLE HUMAN KIND,
And END THE WARS OF NATIONS and those of any other kind.
