World Forum Introduction and welcome by Edward Graham Macfarlane Global Democratic Pioneer     January 26, 1999   A “NEW DEMOCRACY” PARTY IN 1947   I have been keen on global democratic lore since 1947 When I left the RAF which was my war-time haven, I approved of killing Germans who were helping Hitler there, Because Hitler’s ARYAN INSPIRATION was one I do not share. I am not an ethnic thinker as some folk seem to be, I was reared a Christian -- which meant ONE HUMAN FAMILY. I approved the 1000-bomber raids and as a Sgt-Fitter B&G I helped to load the bombers as a nightly activity. I met returning fliers and listened to their tales, Which I regret were sometimes lots of wails. Of HEAVY FLAK or HEAVY CLOUD to obscure their view, Of the DESTRUCTION by the bombs as they were told to do, The HITLER WAR was an EYE-OPENER to many men like me, For ARYAN IDEOLOGY revealed HORRORS quite unknown to me. Anyway I came back to CIVVY STREET and thought I’d try, To organise a SINGLE-RACIST World before my time to die! But it proved a lot more difficult than I had thought, So many CULTS and CHURCHES had opposition brought. For wars are due to thinking of what LIFE’s about, And it is to rid the world of MISTAKEN VIEWS Is what WORLD FORUM FOLK will shout. I think GLASNOST PUBLISHING is POSSIBLE, I think it should be free, Because I think human beings can learn to think like me, But there are many publicists who to GOD will cling, Then reveal a GOD OF MANY NATIONS is their ‘message’ thing Boutros Boutros Ghali was a man that I admire. For he urged that mind-set “COMMON GROUND” would Bring the WORLD UNITY and PEACE we should all desire.         Who would you choose as leader?   It is time to elect a world leader, and your vote counts. Here's the scoop on the three leading candidates.     Candidate A: associates with ward heelers and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses.  He chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.   Candidate B: was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in College and drinks a quart of brandy every evening.   Candidate C: is a decorated war hero.  He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any illicit affairs.      Which of these candidates would be your choice? Having become convinced that we need a world-democratic basis for a single nation planet and sadly aware that most editors of communications media and press outlets are motivated by sectarian or part-world loyalties which act to censor popular demands for global glasnost political thinking.   I have been inspired to hope that a truly glasnost WORLD FORUM for all potential world citizens is required to educate the voters in the world nation to select all politicians to escape the curse of international and intercultural gangfights.   I call upon all creative human minds to support this website on a loyalty basis of common humanity welfare as the most important political priority to ensure the ultimate establishment of full integration of the people of the whole planet. We hope to see a scientific THINK TANK erupting.   We need practical proposals to establish a world official language, currency, policing, world health, etc, and glasnost permissive liberty to discuss these matters without effete dogmatic assumptions derived from many pre-scientific faiths and creeds.
