A "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" POEM FOR MY (ONLY) WIFE 'GEO'
(Inspired by some "blacks" singing "AMAZING GRACE" on TV.)
 
'Amazing Geo’ how good for me
Your presence always is,
You come and kiss me every day,
To start each day's new ‘biz’!
 
You have always been a 'beauty',
I have said this many times,
And I have even mentioned it,
In some of my rather RIBALD rhymes.
 
But it was not just your body,
That I was praising then,
I was thinking of your thinking,
Where you are SUPERIOR! AMEN!
You agreed with me that 'Jesus',
You agreed with me that 'GOD',
Were just inhuman superstitions,
Of the 'JUNGLE BRITISH' squad.
COSMIC TRUTH is MUCH SUPERIOR,
As every human should agree,
Or the path we have to travel
Will be a BLOOD-SPATTERED MELEE!
We have survived my efforts,
To create a GLOBAL NATION WORLD,
So have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY LASS,
And keep all the 'small' flags FURLED!
 
There should only be ONE PEOPLE,
ON 'OUR WORLD’ RIGHT AWAY,
When they hear you've had a BIRTHDAY,
And you are EIGHTY-TWO TODAY!
 
The BRITISH 'DAILY DOPERS,
May not spread this HAPPY NEWS,
But I trust that ERIX PUBLICATIONS,
Will see this poem as POET LAUREATE NEWS!
 
I will be EIGHTY-EIGHT next birthday,
Which I hope I'll live to see,
And that GEO will also be there.
And still be keen to cuddle me!
