January 5, 1999 Edward Graham Macfarlane   All Hail! YEAR ONE SCIENCE ERA   I love a new beginning for every one means change, A NEW DAY, or NEW MILLENNIUM can make imaginations range, There was once a Roman Empire but now its dead and gone, And the one we see around us needs new thinking: (Big "Ding! Dong!") I have always preferred the NEW YEAR to CHRISTMAS, With its dim religious light, With its prayers and hymns and carols, Which-do not appeal to me as right. We need a SCIENTIFIC ERA after 1999, A WORLD WITHOUT SUPERSTITIONS, Like "GUIDING STARS" and "ANGELS" on the line. The world needs more law and order, It really needs Supreme Control, With NATIONS turned to REGIONS of a GLOBAL WHOLE. A Parliament for Scotland is coming soon I hope, But surely not ANOTHER FIGHTING NATION will we see. Scotland as a part of UK has been OK with me, And Scotland as a part of Europe Would be tolerable to me, But Scotland as a REGION of the HUMAN GLOBE. Would we the IDEAL NATION for the anti-xenophobe! I would not tolerate UK sovereignty alongside USA. Nor have NATO CONTINUING in the BLAIR + CLINTON way. They have ABUSED international law which needs reform, For LAW should be for PERSONS not for NATIONS form. Internationalism is AWFUL, It must be BANNED OUTRIGHT, For we CANNOT IMPRISON NATIONS ' if they are trained to fight. The thing to do with SADDAM and CLINTON USA, Is to tell them both that they are wrong to think On SELFISH NATION LINES. A WORLD OF SELFISH NATIONS IS THE OPTIMUM MISTAKE, For we are all HOMO SAPIENS and should now UNDERTAKE, TO CREATE A GLOBAL NATION with a GLOBAL CAPITAL TOO, If UNSCIENTIFIC CHRISTIANS TRY TO TELL US WHAT TO DO. We should CLOSE the CHRISTIAN ERA at 1999 AD, Then START A SCIENCE ERA with the year "1 SE" This would avoid the dreaded numeric bug, Which indubitably will strike, If we do not tell the effete GOD FOLK, To give "GODEL'S INCOMPLETENESS THEOREM" A VICTORIOUS GLOBAL HIKE.
