My Pet Hate

I usually wake round three a.m.
To write my daily poem
But today I woke at two.
And this gave me the idea,
That something most important,
must be in my mind to do.
For although I try to steer my mind,
To reforms both great and good,
I am reminded of the preacher,
who taught 1 must be balanced,
As if upon a tightrope I now stood.
A time to love and a time to hate,
Means its time to understand,
That even a global poet laureate,
will have enemies underhand.
They may-not always reveal their hate,
Of the good things I-have planned,
Like the single global nation,
And no more wars upon this land.
I have met persons who LIKE WAR,
Say its 'God's way' to steer our minds,
Say it is a path to real free sex,
Gives a chance to 'BONK for Britain'!
Or ethnic underlings to vex.
Like the Serbs who hate Albanians,
Or the Kitchen towel on Arafat,
Or the poison gas of Kurd killers,
And many other folk like that,
Then there are NATO manipulators
Like Portillo or Robin Cook,
These are evil, evil, personsf
Whose planning aims are just 'top-crook'.
These are persons I am hating now,
And I hope poem readers will agree,
To hate them as I hate them,
And plan to defeat their HUMAN enmity.
For the HUMAN best must help the very good,
Upon this world of ours,
Which can be brilliant if most citizens,
Become world-unifying workers,
And give World Parliamentarians votes,
To DEFEAT the multi-nationalists
Who are planning plural ganging wars
Which will slit lots of throats.
Of democratic HUMAN folk,
So give no praise for BRITISH-FIRST anythings,
Not even Spike Milligan's BRITISH poetic comic joke.
