First a word of praise for Eric, our editor,
The most glasnost one I've seen,
Which is praise indeed from someone,
Who hates the hypocritic MULTI-NATIONS scene.
Only rabid persevering writers,
Who are implacably resolved,
To publish what they think is true,
No matter what's involved.
Can realise the trauma,
That a true writer can have felt,,
From stupid ‘couthy’ editors,
Whose OMISSIONS are always being dealt.
Can understand the GREAT RELIEF,
It is to find a publisher who prints,
The words that many editors
Give a WIDE BERTH, even in hints.
All talk of GOD and QUEENS annoy me
For they deny our human equality,
And 'praying' & 'reverend' persons,
Are really AB-normality,
When they try to deal with me.
But Eric has been DIFFERENT,
He was published every word,
As I have set it down,
And that is balm to my frustrations,
From media-dopers' 'cap and gown,
But Eric did not stop there,
He offered to publicise,
The picture of our family.
You now have before your eyes.
My wife and I agreed our 'family plan',
Some years before we wed.
When we read the works of Wells and Shaw,
And what many other thinkers said.
I had trained to be a teacher,
And I tried to pass my teaching on,
To the boys we had before the war,
And the two girls later on.
We refused to have them brain-washed,
In the narrow British 'tripe'.
Established in the Coat of Arms.
With its GOD and CROWN-topped hype.
I objected to the SERVICES,(Brit religious)
Which every Scottish school observed,
As well as to "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN"
Which is DEMOCRATICALLY UNDESERVED!
But here we are quite near death's door,,
with all our winning smiles.
A reproach to stupid 'Britishers',
More intelligent, than them, by miles!
An inspiration to the UMPTEEN BILLIONS
