A DATE TO REMEMBER FOREVER!
 
The twenty-second of September,
Is an important date to me,
Because it showed me something,
I did not think I'd ever see.
The Courier (Dandy Town) is my daily paper,
Delivered regularly each day,
Except of course on Sundays.
When workers have a holiday.
I cannot say I like it,
Nor approve its social policy,
Which is designed for the owner's
Plans for a business facility.
The purpose of the owner,
Is the main source I would say,
Of the news and views it carries,
To democrats like me each day.
It has opposed the EU project,
Since before it came to be,
And it silences other opinions,
Than the multi-national idiocy.
But mark well the front-page headline,
That is chosen for TODAY,
The 22nd of September
That 'shook me rigid, I will say
That is an RAF expression,
That has stayed within my mind,
When it epitomised a mental tension,
Of a concentrating kind.
Let me put it now less strongly,
I was MOST surprised to see,
And I assure you its no jape!
"Clinton awaits world's verdict on videotape."
The point that you must notice,
If you are understanding me,
Is that a sign of WORLD DEMOCRACY,
Is growing clear to see.
Clinton is not just a US president,
And Yankees should decide,
He is the leader of the PEOPLE
OF THE WORLD that the DOPER did deride.
I have FORECAST THIS DAY DAWNING,
For fifty years , nay MORE!
But the Doper did not PUBLISH,
The deepest thoughts that I stand for.
One Nation FOR ALL HUMANS,
Is the agenda I ADORE!
