A JOURNALISTIC ACCOLADE
For THE SUNDAY HERALD, issue 7-3-99.

The CLAIM --“NO ORDINARY PAPER” is justified -- I SEE!
Especially in the “Readers’ views” by Kenyon Wright and me
SEE!, THERE!, for every thinker, Mr Wright makes a plea,
Which is SUPRA-PARTY THINKING  and INCONTESTIBLE to me.
Let me lay my rhymes aside to give you what was said,
For the following words should be in gold,
Wherever they are read in Scotland, UK, EU or WWWeb.:--
All politicians -- indeed all of us - need to be reminded of three things.
First, the electoral system could never have been devised by any single party.
I hope all party leaders will agree to recognise,
That CONSTITUTION MAKING is a SUPRA-PARTY ENTERPRISE.
And Scotland can be the place to set,
This brand new point to make,
To teach mankind to see,
That it is NEW CONSTITUTION making
Is what the whole world needs to be.
No party leader understands this point,
Which Wright put down in print.
But when they do they will accept the Canon’s view.
The Parliament in Scotland should be designed to be,
A pattern for the ONE that Humanists mean to see.
For Humanism is supra- as world democracy must be,
Designed for global use and ONE HUMANITY.
This may not please the Catholics.
Nor the Marxists in Dundee,
Nor even in Westminster where sovereignty is claimed to be,
But I am sure THE SUNDAY HERALD never will regret,
Having PUBLISHED the letters,
For SUPRA-PARTY thinking and the GLOBAL INTERNET.
