A DANGEROUS EXPERIMENT.

Since my wife Geo has been housed for nursing care at my home in Arbroath
I have been able to oversee the nursing care given to a sufferer from
dementia by local NHS nurses in a bad case of a patient [my wife Geo] where
the patient is in a coma and is therefore devoid of means of telling the
carers about the thirst a normal person would feel able to do.
As I watched the process I was worried to see that some of the
nurses did not appear to understand that the supply of water by mouth to
the patient must be commensurate with the amount of liquid supplied to the
digestive area, and delivered to the urine bag attached to the leg of the
patient,
So I decided to try to supply more intake of water by the patient,
having been warned by a nurse of the danger that the water supplied might
cause a danger of the water getting into breathing passages instead of
digestive ones.
This made me wary of giving large amounts of war to the mouth of
the patient who, in this case, was my only wife of over 60 years.
So I used a small baby-feeder designed with a suction point which I
could place between her lips and hold it there until she began to suck the
water into her mouth by her own natural reactions.
I was successful in doing this at my first attempt about 9pm
yesterday. About a sixth of a cupful of cold water was taken at this time
and I figured I could repeat the treatment at various times in the future.
I had just done another sucking operation when a nurse [Julie] came
in and I was pleased to see she approved of my experiment.
I will have succeeded in giving Geo a cupful and a half of water
[by stages by then] so I am pleased to think this may help Geo through what
might have been a twelve-hour period of water starvation.
However this is only a single factor in a very complex situation so
we will just have to wait and see how Geo fares during that time.
Julie was good enough to remind me of my own need for food and drink .
So I told her I was accustomed to working on my computer every
night as I am doing now. After all the internet is a 24 hours service and
all humans must begin to realise this to promote the kind of thinking
required to run a world government system to rule all human, being
everywhere.
Realise there is no Heaven.
Nor pearly gates, nor God,
No angels nor evil devils.
Although the preachers tell us so.
All the preachers have been misled
Except the NASA crew.
Who are nearest to me and my agnostic GEO.!
