Well Done the Tory Party Politicians!

We have just seen the Tory Way to end an awkward political divide.
They arranged a quasi-democratic vote to put a change of leader to one side.
I am not an expert on such history but tell me if you can
Was this not a clever policy seen for the first time in the history of MAN?

Here is another quandary to ponder which I would like to see resolved.
Should we have a GLOBAL PARLIAMENT in which all common humans are involved ?
The world has troublemakers like George Bush who wants freedom for IRAQ
Which seems to me a foolish thing to expect us all to back

Could we not have a global referendum to preclude old nations being free.
To sing of RULE BRITANNIA instead of "ONE WORLD IS BEST FOR ALL HUMANITY !"
No more dispatch of gunboats or tanks or aircraft or submarines
The whole world will be one friendly nation for our human genes.

Nobody knows how life began in a crass gas and steaming place.
We only know that somehow people were the winners in the inter-species race
There was no such God as Jehovah to create the Bible people.
It was only human minds which made a kirk or minaret or a steeple.

Heaven and Hell were priest-invented with a Trinity in charge.
A mess of adult faury tales dreamed up by human folk at large.
Our origins are in the blackest night the minds of men can know,
And THAT is why I have come to tell all the living people so.

There are Christians and Muslims and many other creeds around us now.
But they all live by human guesswork is a truth for all to vow.
Astronomers and scientists are the leaders of the lot.
But they are just as ignorant as the folk who fill our pot,

We are all LUCKY to be LIVING in the greatest show the world has ever seen.
So let us all be PATIENT while the thinkers decide the new inventors' scene.
>From cameras to TV and the internet and Concorde and the like.
The time has come to REALISE to ask the religious guys to go and take a hike.

Good Tories and good Labourists and good Humanists may clamour eagerly
Give all of them a hearing and treat all liberally.
But apply the views of NASA folk who are the likeliest to give a truthful say
But we need a BRAVE NEW UNIVERSE to engage all the minds of people here today.
