With over 20 named pools Inshewan has the reputation for being one of the best beats, producing in recent years, catches of over 100 salmon and 500 sea trout per season.
The pools lend themselves to both fly fishing and spinning, whilst the resident gillie, Godfrey, is on hand to offer advice and instruction.
This is an excellent beat for both the expert angler and the novice.
The beat stretches for approximately 2 miles of double bank fishing and is fished by a maximum of 4 rods per day.
The river is divided into two beats "Upper and Lower" with a fishing hut on each beat.
Two rods per beat and change over at 1.30 p.m.
Prices : 4 rods per week:
Total: May £1,500.00. June/Oct £1,750.00
Prices are inclusive of V.A.T.
Individual rods are occasionally available.
