Ian R. Morrison has been carving birds for a number of years, having been introduced to the art form by his father (also Ian Morrison). He has drawn and painted birds since he was a small boy, but now concentrates almost exclusively on carving.

Ian's first love is carving for lifelike accuracy: highly detailed birds which look like they might swim or fly away at any moment.

Ian now carves in a number of styles to suit people's individual tastes:-

1. Highly detailed lifelike carvings

2. Decoy style

3. Aged antique style

4. Antiqued decoy style

5. Natural wood finish

Carvings may be painted in either acrylics or oils.

Ian's carvings are exhibited in a number of galleries in Scotland and in major shows, exhibitions etc. throughout Britain. Please email for gallery enquiries.

Please check out individual photos for availability and price guide.
