The Computing Department in the school has been in existence since 1987. The department has slowly grown and developed over the years. There are now four computer labs in the department, three of which are equipped with Macintosh computers and one with PC computers. Computing courses are taught to pupils in all years.
Information & Communications Technology (ICT) is taught as a core subject to all pupils in S1 and S2. Pupils in these years get fifty minutes per week of computer appreciation. The two main objects of these two years is to get the pupils as fully computer literate as possible and to instill confidence in using the computer effectively.

In S3 and S4, Computing is no longer compulsory, but pupils can opt to study the subject at Standard Grade. This is a two year course and pupils can qualify with a Foundation, General or a Credit grade in the exam and are assessed on three elements which are: Practical Abilities, Knowledge and Understanding and Problem Solving.
The course is split into four main areas of study: General Purpose
Packages, Programming, Computer Systems and Industrial & Commercial
Applications. Pupils must keep a folio of their practical work which is
awarded a grade at the end of the course. This Practical Abilities grade
contributes significantly towards their overall grade for the course. The
other two elements are assessed externally by a written examination at
the end of the course. An overall grade is then calculated.
Fifth and sixth year pupils have a choice of computer related study.
