Primary 3 have been learning how to stay safe . So one day a few weeks ago Judith and Jim came from British Telecom services to teach us about emergencies. We learned about when to dial 999.They had brought phones which really rang. We were shown how to use them to make an emergency call. Some people pretended to be the operators. It was great fun but we learned a lot too.
Next we found out about a serious matter. If you make a hoax call , you could be putting someone's life at risk. You could also be getting yourself into deep trouble because your call can be traced. Then you will have a visit from the police. You might even get your phone line cut off by B. T.!
