This is a race designed to suit those who like racing uphill and/or practising for racing on the continent.
Martin is one of the few people who can take a fairly relaxed attitude and combine it with a keeness to have things well organised. However since he inhabits the head where these usually imiscible attributes reside he sees nothing notable in it because its just "Normal Service" as far as he is concerned.
This means that the race from the bottom to the top will be on time and as stated. Your grub and clothes are carted to the top by some vehicle. Call or write for full details.
Being even keener on food and beer than I am on running the thought of a good descent ruined means I've never tried it.
