From Kinnoull School, Dundee Rd., Perth.

This is the super looking wooded hill that overlooks the fair city (Perth ya thicky) that you drive past on your way to Dundee, Aberdeen and Blaigowrie on your way north.

The race is lovely too, with a pleasant atmosphere and the fine and delicate spring evening light. It is easy to get disoriented with the twists and turns through the woods, past the follies and by the cliffs. I would certainly recommend that you reccy the last mile of the course so that you know when you are near the finish.

Perth Strathtay Harriers put on a superb traditional "High Tea" afterwards in the primary school.

 Women's Record is 00:27:09 set by Tracey Brindley of Cosmics in 1997

  The Organisers says - : £4 for non SAF members. Please bring your SAF card. To get to the registration at Kinnoul Primary School from Glasgow or Edinburgh ignore the Perth signs and follow the signs for Dundee, cross the high bridge over the river Tay. Straight after the bridge leave the dual carriage way to go into Perth and then drive straight until you reach the car parking on the LHS just beyond the Rodney Centre. The primary school is about a hundred metres beyond the car park. From Aberdeen and Dundee leave the dual carriageway at the first exit for Perth and you are on the same road. The Start is a few hundred yards back down the Dundee Road at Branklin Gardens where there is limited car parking.,
