7 Miles 1800ft Category AM

From New Abbey, Dumfries.

This was run for some years as a summer race and with New Abbey having two pubs it was a super race for just sitting around after. The weather in March is not so good for this.

Parts of the hill has been plowed for forestry too but the course itself has an excellent balance of road, climb, steeper climb and ridge with the return by the same route. Navigation in March has proved to be tricky for me as well.
