Heathery tough but not too steep. Ken the organiser tells me that this race is generally supported by mainly local runners. If you are looking for an excuse to get to Thurso this looks good to me

 Men's Record is 0:44:17 set by G Bartlett in 1991.

 Women's Record is 00:59:50 set by F Wild in 1982

  The Organisers says - : Leave Thurso on the main road going west (A836) and drive for about 10 miles to get to Reay Golf Club where you can register. The race is not too steep but the heathery conditions make it hard work underfoot. The course goes up Ben Rha and then a descent and climb up another small peak.,
