Yetholm is a wee town that you need to be going to to go to. Its on the way to nowhere else and as a result has a very relaxed air. One of the shepherds from where I live remembers the fair day race being won by a school friend who was tipsy. Early drug use in athletics?

Safety Requirements include

• You must understand the FRA and / or SAF Safety Rules
• Full body cover must be worn or carried. (This may not be required on the day if it is hot and dry)
• Please bring a sensible map. Generally a 1:50000 OS is ideal. There is no stipulation that you can use it
• Bring a half decent compass
• Bring a Whistle. Repeated blasts on a whistle is the signal that you need help. They only weigh an ounce or two
• Emergency Food to be carried. I think that the rule is a two ounce bar of choclate or equivalent
