I have written articles for Hillandale News, the journal of the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society. One such article was on the "Hines" gramophone. In another article I wrote the history of Great Scott Records (to my knowledge the only 78rpm record company that did everything from recording to production "in house"). One of my special interests is in documentary and speech 78s. A few years back I purchased a Hindenburg record in a private deal. Previously to that I picked up an interesting set of two 10" 78s for a bargain price at a record fair. These turned out to be a speech in English by the Japanese chemist Professor Joji Sakurai.
