HMV issued several albums of Key records in the middle to late 1930s. This is a single record out of one of those albums.

This frequency record on the Octacros label was issued in the middle 1930s. It was recorded and pressed by Synchrophone Ltd., who owned the Octacros label. The illustration round the spindle hole and the title of Synchrophone give a clue as to that company's origins. They made sound tracks for films on records that were synchronised with the relevant film.

The label of one of the early Octacros sound track discs is illustrated above. I think this record dates from the middle to late 1920s
