| Well, my real name is and I was born in November 1976 so you can work out how old I am. Untill
February 2000 I stayed in a place called Grangemouth, which is an industrial
little(ish) town next to Falkirk in central Scotland. After that, I
moved down to a place in Hertfodshire. My main interests for the last
six or so years have been
Computer Science, Japan and Motorbikes.
I did an honours degree in computer science at Heriot-Watt
University in Edinburgh. My dissertation project involved using
Java for
a telemedicine
application.

Well this is hardly a blog as it's so long between updated. To cut a long
story short, I went back to the UK for a year with a mind to teaching
for a year or two. I did a PGCE in ICT with Colchester Scitt and did my
training at a couple of schools in Colchester. A couple of months of supply
teaching and IT contracting and lo...I'm back in New Zealand. I've emigrated
this time. Been over here three months so far. I'm back in Te Aroha, still at Econohonda
and have also strted knocking up websites like Coromandel Holiday. You'd think I'd
get around to putting some decent content management on my own website but I can never find the time!

Blimey. I'm now at Lucent Technologies down in Welwyn Garden City,
Hertfordshire. The last job was all embedded 'C' so now I'm learning
Microsoft MFC and C++....but that's enough geekiness. The best bit about
the job is that I can now afford a bigger motorcycle *cackle*

Shock horror...I've landed a job! As of next month I'll be a
software engineer at GEC Marconi in Edinburgh....I'll soon be able to confirm that all
these years at University HAVE been wasted! Oh yeah, this was my old
mate Kommie!
