Bikes n' Bobs

Motorcycle Stuff!

Motorcycle online is an excellent motorcycling magazine, as is BikeNet - The world's most popular online motorcycle magazine

As of 2004 I'm running about on a mingin divvy (Yamaha Diversion 600) I've had for for years and an absolutely beautiful Yamaha TDM 850Yamaha TDM 850

Has anyone got a white .Yes...me...my mugshot and bike are finally on the net.Kawasaki GPX,  just like I had?  I wont bore you with the details of the bike (check out the above link if you want tech specs) but I would summise it as being a bike that grows on you!  It's pretty fast (134 mph) and has decent handling (16" rear wheel feels very vague but you get used to it).  For such an old bike (1985) the brakes were fantastic.  Oh yeah...my other previous bikes were a Suzuki GP100, Suzuki GP125, Suzuki X5, Kawasaki Z250 and a Yamaha FZ400N.  After buying a very fast (147 mph) but scary handling and poorly braked GPX750 which I quickly got rid off I'm now hustling about on an old XJ550 (not a yukky Maxim thankfully).  I'm now only 2 miles from my office so I can't really justify anything better....but I'm sure my credit card is going to take a hammering very soon.
